Windscreen Chip Repairs
UK Windscreen repairs are safe, effective, convenient and takes less than twenty minutes to complete. We can repair stone damage up to 40mm in diameter. This prevents any further damage and will restore the structural strength of your windscreen, without removing or replacing the glass.
If you have comprehensive cover with your insurance company and choose to have your windscreen repaired rather than replaced most insurance companies will waive your excess, leaving no costs for you.

Zone A – The driver’s key area of vision which is either side of your steering wheel to the top and bottom of your wiper sweeping area. The damage in this area must be no larger than 10mm across which is indicated.
Zone B – damage contained in any other part of the screen – must not be no larger than 40mm across also indicated.
If the damage area of your windscreen is larger that this, you’ll probably need a replacement screen, also if your windscreen is scratched or damaged due to wiper blades this is also an MOT failure which will require a replacement.
